What does Hankins Custom Stump Putty do?
The formula and patent pending material mimics the stump shade of the prepped tooth, the hardest thing for a lab to do is to guess the outcome of the restoration even if the dentist has provided a basic shade of the tooth before prepping. This
product is easy to use, holds the ceramic on the firing peg while providing the internal stump coloration then can be stained and glazed without touching the restoration.

Custom Stump putty keeps it's shape therefore it can be fired over and over.
Once the custom stump putty has been fired the putty looses its pigment, if the shade is still off simply remove the stump putty and inject new putty into the restoration and stain accordingly, cools quickly. No other stump putty shares the same characteristics.
